BORN OF THE SPIRIT
Here today, gone tomorrow,
Free from the heavy gravity of sin;
Nothing can hold the true saint down,
Who by faith in Christ alone does win.
Lost in freedom, found in forgiveness,
Every born-again believer has the truth;
Held forth by angels, twisted by demons,
The Word of our God makes all things new.
Made new today, perfect holiness tomorrow,
Tears of joy now flow out of a rock-solid heart;
Nothing will be able to remove you from My love,
Born of the Spirit you carry My most precious part.
Once lost in yesterday, found forever in Jesus today,
Seek first the Kingdom of God while you're still alive;
Listen to My Spirit like you might listen to the wind,
Soon, very soon, you'll be with Me in Paradise.
