STAND ON TRUTH
First and foremost guard your heart,
Always and forever it is your life;
Be perfect today and set it apart,
To love God and obey Him in Christ.
Above all else keep your focus pure,
Let no petty pursuit disturb your peace;
Be ready and willing to wholly surrender,
Lift you hands to the heavens and release.
From beginning to end faith is lifeblood
That keeps a sanctified heart loving God
Nothing can ever move you from His love
Bought and secured by His Son at the Cross
Above all else take your stand on TRUTH
Give no dirty demon access to your mind
Be holy and ruthless when sin wants you
Let Jesus reign on the throne of your life

Discipline Yourself
Day 300
You may have to force yourself to concentrate on God's words and instructions.
Disciplining yourself to read the Bible daily is not easy when your emotions are interfering with your thoughts. The Bible addresses this struggle: My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair--every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul" (Proverbs 2:1-10).

My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life." (Proverbs 4:20-23)
Grant me discipline, Lord God. Amen.
